Karen Long M.Ost

Notley Osteopaths

I am Karen, I started my career 24 years ago as a Studio Instructor, Personal Trainer and in Management of Health Clubs, subsequently qualifying as an Osteopath in 2009.

I participated is lots of sport in my life, I was a competitive Rower for 9 years and a qualified Ski Instructor.

I began Notley Osteopaths in Braintree in 2015 and happily expanded into Unique Body Clinic with Gemma in 2017. I continue to work in a large practice in Suffolk where I originally gained experience during study.

I have a wide range of experience treating children to old age, from the fit to the unhealthy, I treat a wide range from acute to chronic and complex health issues - I love osteopathy and feel proud and humbled by my patients.

My aim is to give the body a helping hand and allow the body to heal it self and restore function by strengthening the musculoskeletal system. I am currently in the process of a masters in paediatrics.

Neil Sinnott M.Ost

The Treatment Room Essex

I am Neil and I qualified from the British School of Osteopathy with a Masters Degree. I am a member of the General Osteopathic Council and the British Osteopathic Association and alongside my degree I also took a qualification in Sports and Remedial massage. I find the combination of massage techniques and Osteopathy works very well and helps me achieve better results with Patients.

I have always had a keen interest in the human body and enjoy the diversity of patients that Osteopathy brings. I love my job and it has been an ambition of mine to become an Osteopath since I was 12 years old after receiving treatment for back pain.

I am currently studying to be a Neurodevelopmental Therapist, which I hope to complete this year. This will enable me to work with children on the autistic spectrum specialising in children with coordination issues or delays which often mirrors or hinders their mental development and academic performance - this is an area I am very passionate about.
