Osteopathy
Osteopathy at Unique Body Clinic and Wellness is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Our experienced osteopaths use hands-on techniques, including stretching, mobilisation, and manipulation, to improve mobility, relieve pain, and enhance overall well-being. By addressing the root cause of discomfort rather than just the symptoms, we tailor personalized treatment plans to suit each individual's needs. Whether you're dealing with back pain, sports injuries, or chronic tension, our osteopathic care supports your body’s natural healing processes for long-term relief and optimal health.

Meet our Osteopaths

Gemma Townsend – Osteopath & Clinic Owner
Hi, I’m Gemma, an Osteopath and the owner of Unique Body Clinic (UBC), established in 2009. Starting with a single room, I’ve grown it into a thriving 9-room facility with a passionate team dedicated to helping people.
My background includes over 14 years as a Sports Therapist and Personal Trainer. In 2016, I pursued my dream of becoming an Osteopath, completing a 5-year Master’s degree while managing the clinic. To further support my patients, I began a Nutrition degree in 2024 to address inflammatory conditions from the inside out.

I specialize in treating various conditions, including migraines, sports injuries, sciatica, and joint pain. My approach combines techniques like manipulation, articulation, massage, and MET stretching, with a focus on identifying and addressing the root cause of pain. I also provide private blood draw services for health checks and recently launched small group fitness classes.
